Chiaroscuro: Chapter 1As soon as the morning peaked out over the horizon in glorious pastel orange and teal lights, I realized it was the end of the world. I took note on how the shadows contrasted on the landscape, crawling back to the bars that intruded the opening of the window, the shades of black were the same. My world is small; conflicted, a salmon against the waterfalls. It is also not a sphere, but a zoo with four corners. I see eyes that peer through the bars gaze with a sanguinary lust that is beyond human comprehension. In my world, there is only brick with green sponges of chlorophyll growth that cling to the gray surface. Moans echo in between stonesChiaroscuro: Chapter 1

Well, that's about the best analogy I've come up for it, at least. I'm a warehouse supervisor, which is to say I spend my day cleaning up after the stupid and lazy, broken up by dealing with random interruptions and dealing with BS. I can, at least, say that it's never boring.

I know it's Summer, but it's been epically busy for me nonetheless. ><;; I have a job now and I was managing last minute college stuff and there were a lot ... a LOT of stuff I had to help mom with. ><
